The General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities of Saudi Arabia is hosting an official visit by the founder of the Archaeological Park: "Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation" - Mr. Semir Osmanagic. First on the agenda in Osmanagic’s official visit to Saudi Arabia was a meeting with the leading individual in the Department of Antiquities and Museum Commission, Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Gabban and his collaborators archaeologists Dr. Hussein Abdul Hasan and Dr. Abdulaziz Fahad Af-Nafees.

From time out of mind pyramids have been fascinating mankind. The reason could be the shape of the pyramid, which symbolizes a metaphysical connection between earth and heaven. The purpose of these grandiose monuments on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean was possibly in part different, the mystical majestic flair is, however, common to nearly all pyramids. For millennia pyramids have influenced the imagination of human beings all over the world. Worldwide? Yes indeed, for pyramids do not exist only in Africa or on the American continent but also in Asia and in Europe. There are hints that even Australia once had a stepped pyramid, which was about 30 metres high.
This year’s plan for Bosnian Pyramid Valley calls for broad geological probe drillings in several different locations. The objective is to form a complete geological picture of the site, as a requirement for further geological analysis. The work in the field is carried out by registered and certified institution, and geological report will be done by a leading geologist in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
